On June 8, 2025, the picturesque Garden of the Gods welcomed approximately 2,000 enthusiastic runners for the annual Garden of the Gods 10 Mile/10K and Trail Run. Participants experienced the beauty of Colorado Springs as they navigated through three race options designed to embrace the stunning landscape of the park.

USAFA Graduation Parade

Just days earlier, the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) celebrated its annual graduation parade, showcasing the achievements of the graduating class. On May 29, 2025, attendees gathered to witness this prestigious event, which included engaging aerial demonstrations from the highly skilled Thunderbirds and the Wings of Blue parachute team.

Commencement Ceremony Highlights

During the commencement ceremony, Secretary of the Air Force Troy E. Meink addressed over 900 cadets and their families, emphasizing the importance of leadership and service. Despite the less-than-ideal rainy weather, which ultimately led to the cancellation of the Thunderbirds’ planned flyover, the atmosphere remained vibrant as spectators filled Falcon Stadium to celebrate the cadets’ monumental achievement.
